The Future City Rising Summit which takes place on December 8 & 9 is a grand celebration of Telangana’s handloom and weaving heritage. We see thousands of weavers, women self help groups and artisans display their exquisite sarees and traditional products.
This summit is out to do away with present issues that weavers face, to promote women led business and at the same time bring into focus Telangana’s great cultural legacy. Attendees will also see live weaving demonstrations, special exhibits, and in turn support local artisans.
Also this event puts Telangana on the map as a Future City of culture, craft, and community empowerment.
